International Symposium on Material-Hydrogen Systems 2028
11-16 June 2028 in Uppsala, Sweden
Welcome to MH2028!
It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the International Conference on Material-Hydrogen Systems (MH2028), which will take place in Uppsala, Sweden, from 11 to 16 June 2028.
For more than four decades, the MH conference series has served as the leading international forum for researchers, engineers, and industry representatives working on material-hydrogen systems. MH2028 will continue this tradition by bringing together experts from around the world to share the latest scientific advances, technological developments, and industrial perspectives across the broad field of hydrogen-material interactions.
As hydrogen assumes an increasingly important role in the global transition towards sustainable energy systems, hydrogen materials remain at the forefront of innovation, enabling solutions for hydrogen storage, compression, purification, sensing, and energy conversion. MH2028 will provide a unique platform to discuss emerging challenges and opportunities, foster new collaborations, and strengthen international partnerships.
MH2028 is jointly organized by Uppsala University (Sweden) and the Institute for Energy Technology (IFE, Norway). We are particularly excited to host the conference in Uppsala, one of Scandinavia’s oldest university cities and a renowned centre of scientific excellence. The city offers a unique blend of rich cultural heritage and vibrant academic life: an inspiring setting for a week of scientific exchange and networking.
On behalf of the Organising Committee, we warmly invite you to join us in Uppsala for a stimulating week of discussions, discovery and collaboration. We look forward to welcoming you in June 2028.
